Nashville, Tennessee is a hopping place to visit. If you are visiting the city for the first time you will be amazed by how much it has to offer. If you are a music lover, I suggest visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry, Musicians Hall ofFame Museum, and the Music Row and the RCA Studio B. If you love art and history, I suggest checking out the Parthenon and LeQuire Gallery.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Nashville is home to the largest music museum that houses many exhibits that change regularly. The museum exhibits feature music from the past as well as popular music that is well known today. The Country Music Hall of Fame Museum has approximately 2.5 million artifacts to view such as recordings, costumes, photographs, musical instruments, and much more. After a long day of viewing the museum, you can go to 2/22 Eatery for Southern food or Bajo Sexto for Mexican food. While you are there make sure to shop at the museum’s stores for souvenirs.

The Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry

The Ryman Auditorium is where some of the largest music icons have performed. Legendary musicians like Patsy Cline and Elvis Costello have performed at the Ryman Auditorium during their heyday. There are many things to do at the Ryman Auditorium. You can record a song of your own or go backstage for a tour. Three nights a week, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday the Grand Ole Opry will be on the stage performing at The Ryman Auditorium during November to January and then February to October the Grand Ole Opry will be at the Gran Ole Opry House.

Musicians Hall of Fame Museum

The Musicians Hall of Fame Museum is a great place to visit if you are interested in music. You will learn all about famous musicians as well as cities that have been of great influence to the music culture. The Grammy Museum Gallery has recently been added to the Musicians Hall of Fame. This section teaches the audience about the music industry. They will learn about playing the different instruments, singing, songwriting, sound engineering, and producing.

Music Row and the RCA Studio B

The RCA Studio B is where Elvis recorded more than 200 songs during his time. The songs Elvis recorded made him the music legend that he is today. Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, Chet Atkins, and Eddy Arnold all recorded many hit songs in this studio. It is definitely worth a visit if you love music and want to learn more about these legends. You can get a tour of the RCA Studio B from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

The Parthenon and LeQuire Gallery

The Parthenon is located in the Centennial Park. In this place, you will find a full-scale reproduction of the Parthenon in Greece. When you visit the Parthenon you will be in awe of the beauty of Athens. In the Parthenon, you will find an art gallery, a museum and also Alan LeQuire’s Athena Parthenos. Alan LeQuire is one of the most famous sculptors of the nation.

Nashville, Tennessee is a beautiful city steeped in music history so of course, you are going to need to visit these legendary places. You will be learning all about legends like Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and much more. For art and history lovers, do not miss the Parthenon and LeQuire Gallery.
